Refund policy

The current beta does not require a subscription. The commitments below are retained for earlier 1surface Standard purchases, supplied and supported by 1SURFACE LTD. They do not offer a subscription for the current beta or replace an earlier agreement.

Earlier purchase and refund commitments

These refund commitments were originally published on 25 September 2026.

You can request a full refund within 14 calendar days of your first successful Standard payment, even if you have used the paid features. For an accidental renewal, contact us within seven calendar days of the latest renewal charge. No usage investigation is required.

We use the time we receive your request, not the time we process it. The whole final calendar day is included; where your local date gives you more time than UTC, we honour the later deadline. Cancelling and subscribing again does not restart the first-purchase guarantee.

We correct duplicate and incorrect charges without affecting separately valid payments. Outside these windows, we review genuine service problems individually, including failure to supply the paid feature. Simply not using the app does not automatically qualify for a refund.

Contact contact@1surface.com with your account email, the payment reference if available and the reason for your request. Do not send card credentials, bank details or music projects. Stripe also provides transaction support through Link support.

An approved full refund returns your full charged amount to the original payment method through Stripe. We do not deduct our processing costs. For converted payments, Stripe uses the original payment’s conversion rather than a new exchange rate set by 1surface. Your bank’s separate charges or conversion are outside our control.

Accepting a full-refund request for your current paid period stops future renewal. While the refund is pending, otherwise valid Standard access continues until the refund succeeds or that paid period expires. A successful full refund, including cumulative partial refunds, ends only the access funded by that payment. A partial refund retains the remaining paid period. A failed or cancelled refund does not itself remove paid access or restart renewal.

A dispute can suspend access funded by the disputed payment and stop renewal. Resolution restores only an otherwise valid, unrefunded paid period; it does not automatically restart recurring billing. Historical refunds and disputes do not remove separately valid later payments.

Your local Library, projects, artwork and existing preview playback remain available after cancellation, refunds or loss of Standard. Account deletion does not create an additional refund entitlement.

These voluntary policies do not limit your statutory cancellation or refund rights, remedies for faulty or misdescribed digital content or services, or any additional rights provided by the payment provider. Stripe’s applicable refund policy also applies.

Cancellation

For an existing subscription, use Plan & billing → Manage in Stripe or contact contact@1surface.com to stop renewal. Ordinary cancellation retains access for the verified paid period and does not automatically produce a prorated refund. Uninstalling or signing out does not cancel a subscription. Account deletion starts cancellation of future charges; withdrawing deletion does not restart renewal.
